So, let’s start with the basic one.
Take a gallon of warm water. Then mix half to one full cup of white vinegar with it. Stir gently to dilute the vinegar in water. Then take a mop, dip it into the diluted solution, bring it back and wipe the floor with that wet mop. After mopping with that, rinse some water on the floor and wipe again to remove any possible strain of the solution.
2. Sanitizing Tile Floors With Citrus Cleaner
This is also an effective disinfecting solution. Add some orange peels to a quart of white vinegar in a closed jar or container. You can also use any type of citrus peel to make the solution.
Now let the solution sit for two weeks, without opening the jar. When it’s ready, take a similar portion of that solution and water in a spray bottle. Give it a couple of shakes. Then spray in on the surface you want to clean. Use a mop or soft cloth to clean the sprayed area.
When done, rinse that place with some water and wipe out the remaining along with the rinsed water.
3. Cleaning Tile Floors With Baking Soda
There are two methods of using baking soda as a floor sanitizers.
a. dry soda method
One is the dry soda method, for that sparkle some baking soda on the floor specially on the joints of two different tiles. Now take a gallon of warm water and mix ½ cup of vinegar with that. Dip a mop in that solution and mop the soda sparkled area and you will be good to go.
b. soda solution method
The other is the soda solution method. To make that solution you will be needing ¼ cup of white vinegar, ¼ cup of baking soda, 1 tablespoon of dish wash liquid and two gallons of very warm water. Mix all the ingredients in a large container. Dip a mop in it, bring it back and wring it then wipe the floor with that. When done, wipe the floor up with some rinsing water.
4. Washing Tile Floors With Mint Wash
This is also a solution that can be both used as a dipping material or as a spraying cleaner. But first, you have to make that solution. Take equal parts of white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water in a can. Then mix ½ tablespoon of dish wash liquid and finally a couple of drops of peppermint oil in it. Give the can a good shake so that all the ingredients are mixed well.
Now if you want to use it as a spray then take the solution in a spray bottle then spray it on a surface and clean that with a mop or soft cloth. Now you can also make a dipper with that solution, mix half cup of that solution in a gallon of warm water, stir it well then dip a mop in it and use that mop to clean your floor. Oh! 5. Tile Floor Mold & Mildew Remover
